  1. Then you're on @hckosice. Pick a combination.
  2. A few days ago, can't remember if it was Monday, or Tuesday.
  3. Nobody left at home: Festival of Music is on. April 6, 2019.- With the final being two weeks away, and most participants packing the belongings to visit Mexico, fewpeople noticed that registration for the traditional Festival of Music started yesterday. That's the reason host committee is asking users to nominate one or two songs from countries that, while they are not officially taking part in the contest, will be able to showcase their music through this event. Festival of Music is part of TAISC's heritage, being present from the first edition of the contest. Last year, the organizers chose to introduce a poll to select the Festival's best entry, a fact that will be repeated this year. With that in mind, the poll will be opened the day the first songs are nominated, closing one hour before the Grand Final, with the most voted being awarded a especial prize at the beggining of the show's last segment.
  4. Indeed, those acores are insane... only USA's "A" team are usually awarded those scores in individual.
  5. Ladies and gentleman may I have your attention please: We look for volunteers for 2019 TAISC's draw, taking place around 40 minutes from now. Anyone wants to join?
  6. I know... I hope for the next cycle they allow the territories and "regions d'outre-mer" to compete in this event, like CACSO did last year for Barranquilla.
  7. Well, I hope he summons all his luck on himself. I think those plants won't grow properly in Ireland's climate, but maybe Axoloco already is thinking on a way of helping his friend.
  8. Well Axoloco is waiting for him already... he's already asking me if I know which kind of Tequila does he like.
  9. And we name you: Axoloco!!! April 6, 2019.- 2019 Annual TISC mascot finally has a name: Axoloco. The process to find a name for the Axolotl of the contest finished Thursday night, with 34 members of Totallympics casting a total of 62 votes from among 7 possible names for the likeable mascot. Axoloco, named proposed by user @vinipereira came as the winner option with 18 votes, followed by "Sr. Gran Corazón" with 12 and "Axel" with 8. Full results are shared below Results From now on, Axoloco will fulfill his role of 2019 TAISC ambassador to its full capacity; he is heading the Welcoming committee for the participants thay will start arriving in Mexico City on Tuesday April 9th, and will serve as their primary tour guide, which among other places, will include the Pre Hispanic ceremonial site of Teotihuacán and the channels of Xochimilco, both places closely associated to our animal friend legend.
  10. Welcome to Mexico: All countries and juries aboard April 6, 2019.- 2019 Annual TISC organizers have confirmed that each and every one of the National juries and their respective members, have confirmed their participation in this year's edition, dismissing fears that some of them could be left behind. After a slow start in the voting process, most juries send their votes with time to spare before Thursday's deadline, leaving the organizers the task to count and validate the votes until the Big Final two weeks from now. But before, organizers have announced the celebration of the traditional draw that will determine the order each country will have for the aforementioned event. The drawing is taking place today at 11:30 local time, and as per usual, will involve a game show hosted by @OlympicIRL. As part of the celebration, organizing committee revealed it has already booked the flights for the participants, which will start arriving in Mexico City next Tuesday. They will rest there until Thursday, where they will be transported to one of 37 locations across Mexico's other 31 federative entities, where they will enjoy a 4 day stay and discover some of the beautiful places, cuisine, people and traditions the country has to offer, before arriving to Guadalajara the night of April 15th.
  11. There's always the possibility of a "refill" Sir
  12. There will be plenty to eat, not only tacos... but if you're so eager then you can have some of these: They are called "Tacos al vapor" or "Tacos de canasta". It's the most popular kind of tacos for breakfast or lunch, although sometimes they're served for dinner, especially around Christmas. These tacos are cooked in a steamer and have different "stuffings": beans, mashed potatoes, shredded beef & pork belly the most common ones. Then they are topped with cabbage, tomate sauce, pickled carrots & peppers, and sometimes guacamole.
  13. Natalia Botello once again secures a place in the podium
  14. Today Streaming is better than the one they had for the relay... at least this time they have multiple cameras But anyway, I think it's a fair effort from a private channel to broadcast this event, when neither the national federation nor the organizers had the interest to do a proper coverage.
  15. Patience, everything will be revealed in 2 weeks from now. I have a general idea of how points were distributed, but still until I have to take another look at the everyone votes and then sort out the "tied" places in multiple member juries I can't know the exact results.
  16. Well, that's the point... everyone will have a sneak peak into one of our "Magical Towns"
  17. My thoughts exactly... they may allow him as an Independent Pan American athlete.
  18. Still, not so many news or complete results. It seems each NOC or national federation is just focussing (obviously) in their own boxers.
  19. I agree... they should have chose pick their host quotas before not after... but it seems PASO is still a long way from learning how to properly write a qualification process.
  20. [hide] < Concluding message in national language > These were the votes of Slovenia. Thank you all! [/hide]
