Can't believe how this came to happen: defending champions and 2nd best ranked team agains top ranked Quite unfair for both teams, while the hosts and the Argentinians have ridicolous groups. Also entertaining should be the afternoon matches in handball, although Brazil and Argentina should end up winning against Cuba and the U.S. respectively.

If I read correctly, the winner of the continental competitions will only gain a quota if they're not already qualified in that event. In case they are, that quota gets transfered to the World Cup.
