  1. Tough angle runback, and Jacobs delivers.
  2. Here’s the shot
  3. Even without the controversy surrounding the Chinese team, it’s nice to see qualify after so many close misses. @stepansevs congrats!
  4. Brad Jacobs, HOW DID HE GET THAT TWO
  5. This v. game is super entertaining so far
  6. D-Petey with his first NHL goal! Canucks currently up 5-2, of course we start to play good when the playoffs don’t matter anymore though.
  7. World Curling’s response: Useless federation.
  8. Yucatán Challenge Women’s Tournament Gold- Valentina Gottardi/Claudia Scampoli Silver- Tanja Hüberli/Leona Kernen Bronze- Devon Newberry/Jaden Whitmarsh Men’s Tournament Gold- Ondrej Perusic/David Schweiner Silver- Yves Haussener/Julian Freidii Bronze- Joao Pedrosa/Hugo Campos Full Results
  9. Sulver for Eliot Grondin at the Mont St Anne WC in men’s snowboard cross! James Savard-Ferguson also recorded his career best WC finish, advancing to the quarterfinals. 5th and 7th for Tess Critchlow and Audrey McManiman, I believe their best results of the season?
  10. Well the semi good thing about the Canucks being eliminated from the playoffs already (I would still rather us make the playoffs), is maybe we’ll see DeBrusk in action here
  11. I think your comment might be clouded in bias. First of all, I don’t appreciate that you’re trying to tell me I don’t know the rules of curling, especially considering I most probably watch it and understand it more than you do, but thanks. I’m a member of a few curling forums/sites and they all generally agree with me. No, the Chinese team knew what they were trying to do on this instance. And even if they weren’t, it’s happened way too many times now to be looked at as an “accident” (that kicked rocked in the Germany game was blatant, and they were still denying it), I’ve noticed it twice already and I’ve probably missed some of the other infractions. Could be because of the favourable outcome, or maybe it was to avoid further arguments. Even if was the first one, choosing to accept the result still doesn’t cancel out China’s cheating. Maybe the other users who frequently watch curling can share their thoughts down below though, I’d love to get more viewpoints on it.
  12. Olympic quartet in the men’s 4x100m put up a decent 38.09 to take the win at the Florida Relays.
  13. Semifinals v. v. qualifies for the Olympics with a win here, otherwise does.
  14. Guess what? There’s been yet another instance of Team Xu cheating, this time in the quarterfinals against … They didn’t benefit from it (luckily), but it’s the principle of it happening again that frankly has me pissed off at the fact that they not only made it this far, but are one win away from qualifying for the Olympics, the sport on the biggest stage. Curling has no room for cheaters and I hope World Curling does something about it.
  15. to the semifinals, v. and v. in the qualification round matches
  16. Go If we can prevent the Americans from qualifying (at least for now), that would be great!
  17. Men’s Curling Worlds knockout stages and medal matches (qualification round/semifinals/and the bronze and gold medal match), NHL (Canucks), NBA (Warriors), Vakifbank Volleyball, maybe the Grand Slam Track League Kingston, Mount Saint Anne SBX WC, Speedo Canada Open, Elite16 Saquarema, Monte Carlo Masters, GSOC Players Championships Tomorrow 1:45 AM: ISMF Ski Mo WC Villars Sur Ollon- Mixed Team Relay 8:00 AM: Men’s Curling Worlds - Qualification Round 8:00 AM: FIS Mont St Anne Snowboard Cross WC 1:00 PM: First hour of Canucks-Ducks… 2:00 PM: Men’s Curling Worlds - Semifinals 3:42 PM: GST Kingston - Day 2 Sunday 8:00 AM: FIS Mont St Anne Snowboard Cross WC 8:00 AM: Men’s Curling Worlds - Bronze 12:42 PM: GST Kingston - Day 2 2:00 PM: Men’s Curling Worlds - Gold
  18. Playa del Carmen Elite16 Women’s Tournament Gold- Carol Solberg/Rebecca Cavalcanti Silver- Terese Cannon/Megan Kraft Bronze- Kristen Nuss/Taryn Brasher Shoutout to my new favourite pairing of Hüberli/Kernen, who have backed up their silver at the Yucatán Challenge by recording a quarterfinal finish here by defeating Olympic Champions Duda/Ana Patricia in straight sets in the round of 12 (to be fair, they looked off all event long, but the Swiss also beat Nuss/Brasher). This team definitely has what it takes to be a top 5 team and consistently contending for medals. First time watching Kernen play, all I can say is how is she that good at only 19? She’s gonna be a star in the future. Men’s Tournament Gold- Noslen Diaz/Jorge Alayo Silver- Tomas Capogrosso/Nicolas Capogrosso Bronze- Chaim Schalk/James Shaw Schalk/Shaw defeated Olympic champions Ahman/Hellvig in the quarterfinals Full Results

  20. Glad to have you back buddy
  21. So I was watching a replay of China-Germany in between Canada’s game against Sweden and this one against Italy and… it seems like China cheated during it which could’ve been critical in them winning the match? During the 1st end, Xu with his last rock had an easy hit for the single against three German stones. One of the sweepers for China (I can’t tell which one, this team is quite new to me) “accidentally” kicked their own stone, which redirected one of their own stones into the rings, and Germany only got the steal of 2. HIS FUCKING FOOT IS TOUCHING THE ROCK Now after, Team Xu was claiming that the stone was picked (it was not) and Muskatewitz was arguing that it couldn’t possibly have been picked. China wouldn’t admit it, and they ended up winning the game 10-9. BOO. Hope these cheaters don’t qualify for the Olympics.
  22. Edin usually has mediocre seasons though (that being said this has been worse than usual), then really starts to show up for Worlds. He’s only won 4 GSOC events in his career. They’re at a 4-2 record at the moment, so seems to be the case again. Plus, they played really well in their loss to Canada.
