  8. Although I would rather not see T20 cricket (or any form for that matter) on the Olympic program, as I find it incredibly boring, can’t deny that it does bring a whole lot of fans to the Olympics. Flag football being included as a potential sport is a complete joke though. So f*cking boring to watch, and the US would pretty much have both gold medals guaranteed. Squash finally getting it’s chance was long overdue, although doesn’t help that an idiot like Mostafa Asal is near the top of the men’s World Rankings - he doesn’t exactly embody the Olympic principle. Stoked that Softball/baseball will be featured as well, really enjoyed watching both at Tokyo 2020. Fingers crossed we can have a full strength tournament with all the top MLB players participating. Sad that Karate/Kickboxing/Ultimate won’t be at LA 2028, hoping to see them included in future editions. Anyone know why Ultimate wasn’t even shortlisted for inclusion? Over one hundred registered NFs, has gender equality, has youth appeal. Don’t know where the venue would be though. Is it due to the lack of viewership? And as for breaking, well bye

  18. I’ve got to say, I’m really happy that this team is going to Paris. Probably one of my biggest qualification hopes (along with our women’s volleyball team).
  19. Men’s volleyball team books their ticket to Paris through the Olympic Qualifiers!
  20. TBF we also had Poland and Argentina, which evens it out. Had high hopes for this Canadian squad, pre-tournament thought there was a slim chance they could overtake Argentina for the final quota, but had them finishing in third place. Beating Netherlands in 5 and Argentina in 4, along with taking Poland (!) to 5 (ok… Sliwka, Leon, and Fornal weren’t playing for the majority of the match if at all, but their bench is still solid) was better than I could’ve ever expected (at that point, thought that would’ve been enough). After Belgium beat Canada in an embarrassing one sided showdown, thought our chances were over. Then, Bulgaria beats Belgium in 5, with excellent Bulgarian blocking, and a Sokolov masterclass. Slim chance that Mexico ended up beating Canada, knew our Paris berth was pretty much guaranteed at that point. So happy for the guys! Will be following all their matches at the Olympics.
  21. WE’VE FCKING DONE IT! THIRD CONSECUTIVE OLYMPICS THAT WE’VE QUALIFIED A MEN’S VOLLEYBALL TEAM!
  22. Against all odds, qualifies for the Olympics, as they take the third set 25-15, and defeat Mexico 3-0! Third consecutive Olympics that we’ve qualified a men’s volleyball team!
