Breaking WDSF Oceanian Championships 2023
Josh replied to Totallympics's topic in Non-Olympic Sports
So I messaged Breaking for Gold on Instagram, regarding their post on the upcoming Oceanic Breaking Championships. It said something along the lines of “watch the top breakers compete” blah blah blah. I replied with “no breakers from Oceania are good (which is true) don’t see the eventual gold medalists winning a single battle come Paris unless they face off against an African athlete”. I’m assuming they read the message because after that I got blocked. What a sh*t social media admin, why would you block someone for sharing a fact? It’s not like I was even hating lol. -
Oh no Well… a lot. In curling, Team Edin, Team Schwaller and Team Hasselborg (and to a lesser extent Team Fujisawa) In freestyle skiing, Birk Ruud In hockey, Elias Petterson, JT Miller, Thatcher Demko (all three of my favourite Canucks) In volleyball, Poland’s men’s team (and to a lesser extent Bulgaria’s men’s team ), along with Yuki Ishikawa, TJ Defalco, György Grozer, Isabella Haak, Tijana Boskovic. As for Polish players, favourites would have to be Sliwka and Leon (Kaczmarek and Bednorz in 3rd and 4th probably). In badminton, Viktor Axelsen and P.V Sindu In volleyball, Mol/Sørum, Bryl/Łosiak, Hüberli/Brunner, Ehlers/Wickler, Duda (Not a big fan of AP though), Mader/Verge Depre, Brouwer/Meeuwsen, Cherif/Ahmed In athletics, Mondo Duplantis, Femke Bol, Tobi Amusan, Miltiadis Tentoglou, Anna Hall, Nicola Olyslagers, Jakob Ingebrigtsen, Mutaz Essa Barshim, Karsten Warholm, Athing Mu, Jakub Vadlejch In swimming, Thomas Heilman, Leon Marchand, Chad Le Clos, Ryan Murphy, Nic Fink, Lani Pallister, Caleb Dressel, Michael Andrew, Florent Manaudou, Ruta Meilutyte In alpine skiing, Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, Joan Verdu, and AJ Ginnis In cross country skiing, Johannes Hosflot Klaebo In surfing, Gabriel Medina, Joao Chianca, Filipe Toledo In soccer/football, Lionel Messi, Thibaut Courtois In tennis, Casper Ruud, Rafa Nadal, Hubi Hurkacz, Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Dominic Thiem, Grigor Dimitrov, Roger Federer, Paula Badosa, Anett Kontaveit In judo, Peter Paltchik Obviously Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and the rest (2021-22 roster, hate Chris Paul) of the Golden State Warriors (NBA). Along with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, and Domantas Sabonis and that’s pretty much it. What about you?

Isn’t Thibeault is the heavy favourite for gold in the women’s 75kg weightclass?

Best case scenario in boxing would be 4 Olympic quotas? @intoronto (Being Thibeault, Cavanaugh, Delgado and Sanford) -
Don’t know if anyone here follows club volleyball, but does anyone know where to watch ZASKA/Sesc RJ Flamengo/Vero Volley (men’s mainly) matches? Fenerbahçe and Eczacıbaşı‘s matches are streamed on their respective YouTube channels I believe.
