  1. And that's it, Vahine Fierro has qualified for the 2024 Olympics. Well deserved IMO, was so close to booking her ticket to Tokyo 2020, but just barely got beat by Ado at the 2019 ISA Surf Games, who ended up qualifying as France's second women's surfer.
  2. Erin Brooks also advances to Repechage 11, with a total score of 11.44 (6.77+4.67). She's believed to be one of Canada's most promising athletes so watch out for her on the Road to Paris 2024/LA 2028.

  12. 2023 ISA Surf Games are happening now. Cody Young with a solid chance at an Olympic quota (11.11%), currently in Repechage 10. African men's quota went to Jordy Smith, but he'll probably qualify through the CT, and therefore the quota will be reallocated to the next highest-ranked unqualified athlete here. Spain, France, Mexico x2, Japan x2 and Peru x2 are the other countries in contention.

Great tournament for Michelle Li at the BWF Super 500 Thailand Open beating the likes of Sindhu (Two-time Olympic medalist in 2016/2020, and current WR13) and Zhiyi (2022 Asian Champion, and current WR7) Meanwhile, the BWF Super 750 Singapore Open has started, no Axelsen unfortunately But a great straight games win for Li, over Gilmore to start off her tournament (21-11, 21-15), continuing right where she left off. Tough task in Yamaguchi up next, not really expecting much.

  22. Olympic Qualification Summary after Day 6 Oceania: Saffi Vette has qualified for the 2024 Olympics after Hareb failed to advance from Repechage 6. Billy Stairmand has qualified for the 2024 Olympics after Butler failed to advance from Repechage 6. Africa: On the women's side, Sarah Baum has qualified for the 2024 Olympics after advancing from Repechage 6. On the men's side, disaster struck for Teva Bouchouga with him placing fourth in Repechage 6 (Needing a third to qualify), therefore the quota will now be reallocated to the next highest-ranked unqualified surfer (As T30 finisher Jordy Smith will most likely qualify through the WSL Championship Tour) Europe: Uri Uziel is the only male surfer currently in the main round (R5) with Dylan Groen (Repechage 7), Gonzalo Gutierrez (Repechage 7), Kauli Vaast (Repechage 7), and Frederico Morais (Repechage 7) all still in contention in repechage, with perhaps the strongest surfers coming from France and Portugal. On the women's side, Rachel Presti , Noah Klapp , Pauline Ado , Tiara van der Huls , Vahine Fierro , and Francisca Veselko are the six surfers still competing in main round (R5). France, Portugal, and Germany are the favorites for the quota here. Asia: Shino Matsuda has qualified for the 2024 Olympics after Yang failed to advance from Repechage 6. On the men's side, Reo Inaba , Rio Waida , and Kanoa Igarashi are all in the main round (R5). Reallocated Quota: Along with the male surfers above, you also have Cody Young , Sebastian Hernandez , Alan Cleland , Miguel Tuleda , Leandro Usuna , and Lucca Mesinas all in contention for a spot at the 2024 Olympics.
