    Maciusiak is a budget option for the 'lean years' that are set to kick in. This was planned for many years once Stoch, Kubacki & Żyła retire (or become too old to have good results). We don't have any juniors and the development has been screwed for many seasons now. Results should get even worse especially if Wąsek suddenly drops off w/o Thurnbichler (as he was the only one who clearly profited under TT's coaching).

    So it's a silver medal for Overall five relays in each final with two teams clearly off the top level made these events quite hollow for lack of a better word.

    Last event and maybe the first medal for I mean we really should beat & even without Kaczmarek so 4th place is almost a given and then it's for the medal.

    At least Skrzyszowska finally erases Zofia Bielczyk's NR from 1980 (which won gold in European Indoors that year). This was the third oldest NR indoors. Pia sounded happy enough in the interview because of that result.

    7.74 NR for Skrzyszowska but only 4th place. Charlton & Nugent who had slowest SF times take gold & silver Crazy level in the 100H final.

    Of course Jeanmonnot made a mistake. She wanted to make a turn while walking? You want to take the turn wide there and Preuss knew what she was doing by making the correct placement herself.

    Mahuchikh only a bronze medal in HJ and Topic was really close on the final attempt to deny her that. Annik Kalin with a silver medal in LJ so the decision to skip pentathlon works for her again.

    I can't tell about Sweden but with Norway Oslo/Holmenkollen would be the obvious choice but I've read many years ago already they won't bid for Winter OG no matter what. I can't really say what's the deal here. I know locals are fed up with the drunken parties around the area during World Cup events for a long time.
