  1. There are actually two Molls hehe. The twin sister jumped "only" 4.81 in the same event
  2. Maximilian Ortner was chosen over veteran Michael Hayboeck for the last spot in the NH competition. will field 5 men since Piotr Żyła is the defending champion.
  3. Vonn had a podium shot but one bad turn and over a second lost
  4. Gut-Behrami with one line error/gamble that she corrected in the next three turns and only 0.06 behind Brignone. A let off...
  5. Many mistakes in the women's Super G in Kvitfjell. Only 3 of the first nine skiers didn't make a big error or DNF outright. Goggia with a shaky run but only 0.09 behind Brignone.
  6. Amanda Moll with a new NCAA pole vault record in Indianapolis (4.91). That's 8th best all-time and ties Stefanidi & Kennedy's PB
  7. in 7th place after the 1st round of the women's NH team competition only managed to beat but we fielded a nordic combined girl just to have a team and she jumped whooping 57.5 meters
  8. Nika Prevc wins the NH gold so no real surprise here
  9. Justyna Święty-Ersetic beat Natalia Kaczmarek in the 400m Polish nationals final alas Natalia had a pause this month due to a hamstring injury and she generally dislikes running indoors. It's debatable if she competes at IEC.
  10. That's World Cup win #100 for Shiffrin! Obviously it was only a matter of time and she managed to accomplish this before her 30th birthday next month.
  11. Helena Oeberg promptly finished 30th and last. Probably the only race in history where siblings finished 1st and last
  12. Elvira breaks her personal WCh curse to take gold! Michelon & Kirkeeide for the minor medals. Richard 4th and Tdorova with a great 5th place.
  13. Elvira Oeberg holds her nerve on the last shoot!
  14. even lost to but nobody expected miracles. TVP Sport crew said their view at the range was obscured by a giant flag
  15. Kamil Stoch wasn't selected for the upcoming Nordic Skiing World Championships in Trondheim
  16. Yes, winning ATP title at age 18 is extremely rare to say the very least so it will be very interesting where he goes from here
  17. Another gold for as Loic Meillard wins the slalom ahead of McGrath & Strasser. Noel went out from the lead after 1st run but he was losing time to Meillard anyway so would have been second or third at best IMO.
  18. Marco Schwarz lasted 8 seconds
  19. Vinatzer all over the place since gate five and dead last
  20. Noel & Meillard with some daylight ahead of the rest in run one. Jakobsen lasted 15 seconds as the first DNF.
  21. Since Sara 'Tortellini' Errani was mentioned in the doping thread might as well say she & Paolini won the Doha doubles title on MP #7 after an underhand serve was returned long. No wonder the returner collapsed on her knees after that one...
  22. Lindvik showed up for some good result again?
  23. I'm old enouh to remember the original Kuerten craze so this will be curious how Fonseca does on tour.
  24. Amanda Anisimova wins the biggest title of her career in Doha 1000 over Jelena Ostapenko 6-4 6-3 in the final. This means she moves into career-high #18 in the rankings - some 6 years after making Roland Garros SF at 17yo.
  25. Camille Rast wins slalom gold by 0.46 from Wendy Holdener. Liensberger with a mediocre run but holds off Moltzan by 0.02 for bronze. Shiffrin with som mistakes and down in 5th.
