  1. I'll keep it short - the unwritten rules of baseball are pure trash.

Imagine a similar outrage if Bayern Munchen scored three goals in the last ten minutes while 5-2 up on Barcelona... oh wait, they did... and there was no outrage.

Baseball's unwritten rules are the most archaic and unneccessary thing in pro sports. No wonder the sport can't compete with gridiron football and basketball anymore.

  2. Elliott wins at the Daytona Roval.

Kaz Grala finishes 7th on his Cup debut. It's funny, #3 was basically retired after Earnhardt's death and only allowed back in because of Childress' grandsons and now Kaz fuckin' Grala is another driver who competed with it. Not bad for someone whose father was born in Slupsk :p

Would Lukashenko lose if the elections were completely fair or is it (like in many other countries with authoritarian or populist governments) mostly the more "visible" urban educated population that is against him?

    He'd probably lose.

No where in that article does anyone accuse her of sleeping with Brown. I’d say she’s pretty self made as a state and national politician, as she largely won all her elections based on her own efforts. That article even says her opponents were using those rumors to attack her in her first candidacy for state office. Brown also reeks of one of those politicians who’s so self-obsessed and scared because of his past misdeeds, so he begins to throw everyone under the bus just to create clout.

Yeah, a 30 year old woman was dating a 60 year old man for what reasons exactly then?

    I wouldn’t call what the EU did „ignoring“ ...

Taking actions against countries like Poland or Hungary would be far more important than doing anything about Belarus.

Yeah, EU has proven they can't do anything about global Russian influence so they might as well flex their muscle vs minnows like Poland and Hungary  In the last 12 years Russia has invaded Georgia, annexed Crimea and caused unrest in Ukraine plus carried a military operation in Syria and EU thinks a conservative government in Poland is the real evil :p

  6. Not exactly impossible but Inessa Kravets' WR turned 25 years old yesterday.

What people don't remember is she had two no jump and this was basically a "safety" effort as she took off very early on the boards. This was a 15,6X effort tbh.

For a while there was a bunch of 15,3X results in women's triple jump but still nobody has broken this one.

Btw, Kravets' 1996 Olympic gold jump (15,33 into a head-wind) is still 6th on the all-time list as well.

  7. It's safe to say EU doesn't give a flying rat about Belarus. It's not surprising given how they ignored the War in Donbass or shooting down the Malaysian Airlines flight before. Belarus has nothing to tease EU into fighting for democracy there :dunno:

Yeah, apparently lots of fans lost their shit over Mason starting as P.I., without even bothering to see if that was supposed to be a part of character development all along.

And not all reboots are inferior by design. Usually I am not a big fan of them, but this one seems to be much less formulaic than the original. Characters are quite interesting, with plenty of depth to them. It gave me Chinatown vibes - a huge plus in my book.

Oh yeah, Ving Rhames as Kojak was a total failure while the Magnum P.I. and MacGyver reboots serve no real purpose either. Once Law & Order and CSI franchises run out of gas the Americans have no other ideas other than rebooting more vintage titles or adapt European scripts outright :p

  9. Funny thing is, these protests could be inspired by Russia as Putin wants as weak Belarus as possible. Without export to Russia, Belarus economy would collapse in three months. The only change of scenery will happen when Russia allows to remove Lukashenka. He's very weak right now and that actually makes Russia tolerate him.
