  1. Sweden wins 5-0! I imagine there will be major pressure for Italy to avoid disaster vs South Africa.
  2. Another corner, another goal for Sweden. Italian keeper just slicing thin air. Well, they better get ready for USA in R16 then.
  3. takes the lead vs after another Ilestedt header from the corner.
  4. Anna Kiełbasińska has WD from the National Champs 200m final due to Achilles pain and her World Champs appearance is suddenly uncertain.
  5. This is definitely a sharp contrast to Poland who always tries to enter as many athletes as possible - even if some of them are ineligible like in swimming at the last two SOG If there is any B-standard, wild card, world ranking loophole or whatever else, we will sniff around it
  6. played with 10 men since 28th minute and they beat 1-0. Not the best referee performance from Huerta de Aza, misjudged the physical nature of this game and I still don't know how China didn't get that second penalty decision a few minutes after the first one.
  7. This is some mess. Haiti gets a soft penalty but ref is called back to VAR and takes it away. Oh, well. It was soft contact in first place and China should have had a second penalty themselves before.
  8. takes the lead after VAR negated an offside in the build-up to a clear foul in the box. 1-0 from PK.
  9. Red card for after 28 mins. VAR had to step in but that was obvious studs up on knee foul. Big chance for now.
  10. England leads Denmark 1-0 but Keira Walsh is off with a knee injury.

  12. Late goal from Kennedy makes little difference. with a huge upset 3-2 over So Australia has to beat Canada in the final group match to advance.
  13. A complete double howler from Alanna Kennedy. First she plays the Nigerian onside and then she heads the ball back to her! 3-1 Nigeria
  14. takes the lead 2-1. You can forget about Australia making the SF with or without Sam Kerr IMO.
  15. Well, Australia has to deal with Nigeria first. 1-1 at half-time
  16. leads 2-0 after 30 mins.
  17. turns it around. Late own goal in the first half and now they take the lead 2-1 after 53 mins.

  20. Another wrong offside call on the Spanish goal from the Korean referee team. VAR has to bail them out. 5-0 Spain and they take the group lead on goal difference over Japan.
  21. Finally an offside goal that is overturned on VAR. But the referee from South Korea still mixed it up by saying "no goal & no offside". It was the latter. 4-0 Spain after 73 mins.
  22. beat 2-0 so Spain can control the goal difference ahead of the final group match. In fact they lead Zambia 2-0 after just 13 minutes

  24. Ada Hegerberg has walked back to the tunnel like 2 minutes before kick-off so has to be some late injury as if Norway needed more trouble.
  25. The first upset is complete. beat the co-hosts 1-0. Probably indicates how bad Norway is these days more than anything.
