I think that there is no chance for Kazakhstan to be in adult contest anytime soon, as Kazakh television tried to compete in the contest regulary since 2017 but EBU every time says no for them, I doubt that current situation will change anything, sadly.

There still can be more withdrawals as Armenia, Czechia and Moldova didnt confirm their participation. While Armenia might not saying anything yet because they are focused in hosting JESC, then Im afraid of Moldova and especially Czechia who always confirm their participation and selections method early... With one more withdrawal we will have the lowest number of competing countries since introduction of semifinals... If all three mentioned aboved countries will compete then we will have 37 nations, which equal low number of 2014 contest. Ironicaly soon later Ukraine, exactly Crimea was invaded and then included by Russia too...

Why on earth teams from Group E and F will play against each other again? Why it couldnt be 1E with 4F, 2E with 3F and so on?

Dates are 9th May, for first semifinal, 11th for second semifinal and Grand Final will take place in 13th May, in Liverpool. The heart in the logo will have Ukrainian flag colours instead British flag though.

The host city of ESC 2023, either Glasgow or Liverpool will be announced tomorrow in morning of British time.
