I always watch DJesus Unchained, but I know it’s been criticized as highly sac religious. I think that if you can’t find the humor in religion (even if it is your own), then your missing out on the highs of life.

Is it on the Olympic Channel, or do I have to go elsewhere to watch it? I’m a bit worried after your review, but as long as there’s stuff look at in the village and whatnot, I’ll be slightly interested. We generally have similar tastes it seems, so I can stomach this hopefully.

Somewhat. There are parts of Northern California that look very similar, and maybe some of the Central East mountain parts, but not too much in common with the South outside of the LA Basin. The LA Basin climate is called Mediterranean, but it’s not that similar in my opinion. Croatia actually reminds me more of Coastal California, Oregon, and B.C.; which are all wonderful places which everyone should visit if they get the chance.

Rovinj - there was a Red Bull Air Race here I believe. I recognize the town from something at least. Also, I love to know more about the Ski Jumping hill after the ceremony @dcro. I love cool venues like that. Croatia reminds me a lot of the coastal parts of the Western United States. There’s quite a bit of similar scenery. Croatia has some deeper colors though. I really want to visit now.

It’s formatted for traditional television though, which means the creatively and storytelling as been highly restricted to an extent. There’s annoying cuts for commercials. Episodes are shorter than they could have been. That can’t use offensive language, images, symbols, etc. Basically the artist merit of the show has been restricted.

I know it’s regarding as one of the best television series of of all time. Personally, I haven’t watched it, and I’m not that interested in old media, so I probably won’t. I’m not a big fan of television unless it’s in the modern streaming format.

Watched it a long time ago. It was okay at best. I think the first season was fine, but then it just got crazy and hard to keep track of (at least in the age of watching an episode weekly). My sister has been watching lately, and she really liked it.

Actually it came from comparing it to the other the other films I saw. I realized how terrible the pacing of Gladiator is. It’s still a good movie, it just lacks in some areas. Arrival on the other hand...
