Same. All of the teams worked so hard, but my heart is broken for the American girls. I can’t believe it...... only .2. Hopefully Andrea will remain as coach because I’d like to see them make a run for 2024..... but I don’t think that the same girls are going to stay around that long.

History for Liechtenstein.   A microstate qualifying in an event like this (with fully home-grown athletes) is rocket science, but apparently possible.

Can’t wait for FINA to award Ireland an invite in this discipline too and then rescind it. Unlike diving and swimming, we have no participants, but it’s FINA and anything is possible

so, basically we already know the RAI TV schedule...8 hours a day of Artistic Swimming and 8 hours a day of Rhythmic Gymnastics...:yikes: :rofl: :hairpull:

 

as usual...nothing new under this fuckin' sun...:nopompom:

 

luckily, we have a lot of chances beyond our public tv, starting with Eurosport Player and going on with many satellite tv broadcasters...:whistle:

Exactly!

 

After reading about it the other day, I searched for a video and was stunned. So much different than a run-of-the-mill artistic swimming routine.

Still they have around a point of an advantage over Germany... But it will be very hard.

Terrible score for the Swiss. They are even lower then Colombia.

 

Looks like the flip will happen here after all. Liechtenstein holds almost 2 points lead above Switzerland. :)

      It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.

      Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt

      The problem is, the World Cup is not a local event. Overall it's another storm in a teacup. LGBT rights in Muslim countries won't change a damn inch becuse of one soccer match in Seattle
