The dates are confirmed as there is a document of olympic qualification system that is downloadable from the FIVB which updates the system and states that the dates are 2-4 August for Women and 9-11 for Men

With this set up it's easy for me to predict the teams that will go to Tokyo.

Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Serbia, Russia, Italy, Netherlands, USA, Dominican Republic, China, Cameroon... and Korea or Thailand.

Poland will take part in world olympic qualification tournament (women). Anybody knows which team resigned? How do new groups look?

Where did you read that? Poland is out of the top 25 of the World Ranking, so normally there's no place for Poland in the OQT. Maybe Poland organizes one of the OQT (or Poland gets a wildcard)?

This is info from Polish Volleyball Federation (PZPS).

https://www.pzps.pl/pl/aktualnosci/16671-reprezentacja-polski-w-pilce-siatkowej-kobiet-zagra-w-kwalifikacjach-do-io (in Polish).

PZPS got the message, that one of team resigned. FIVB confrimed Poland could take part in OQT, probably in group with Serbia.

    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
