All in all a 100% sure KAZ quota is just gone to the oblivion. will be a very hard job for :CHN to not win the quota now..

 

W C1 - China should win this as well with fingers in nose... the M C1 is a totally open one in other hand. I do not know very well the young Kazakhs, but it seems they are in the best position with China with biggest chances to deny them and maybe Uzbekistan with a long shot behind.

 

W K1 looks like a farce. Only 4 Extremely weak competitors from 2 nations (Not sure if it even will be valid for qualifications). But I go with KAZ, even if the local girls may have some advantage of home water, their level is just atrocious, not saying the kazakh girls are any better, but at least one may not be worried the girl will kill herself during the race at least...

 

So obligatory look at pre-race predictions.

When even the Olympic champion is becoming impatient about the results...     I can confirm, though, that China and Kazakhstan finished 1st in W C1 and W K1, respectively.

I wonder if the start list is final and complete https://siwidata.com/canoe123/live?SessionKey=rcat.1939   we were supposed to have an entry in women's K1. but this list only shows 4 at

Pretty surprised to not see Martin Stranovský in the start List for , did he lost internal qualifier to Tashtamyshev ? I seriously doubt about it, maybe it is some injury.   All in all a 10

Hopefully, Stranovsky will not fix citizenship before Tokyo, as these other Kazakh guys are our best chance to avoid the last place finish this summer. :whistle:

He is Kayak paddler, so no worries.... and I see what you are doing, No worries again, Marinič will certainly not finish among the last :p Anyway he would not stand a chance at the Olympics, but he would certainly destroy the field in Pattaya for sure. Too bad for :KAZ they would have 3 paddlers in Tokyo now

      Yesterday at 8.40pm, what Italians call “Sanremo Holy Week” began, ending very early at around 1.20am (with controversy attached, as this is finally the last year for this presenter). It wasn't a great edition, with no big favourite singers like Mengoni in 2024 or Giorgia in 2025 (who lost!).       Thanks for the amazing work on the spreadsheet. If my eye's read correctly you expect  to get a quota in Sprint (M) canoeing . This will be historic, if time permits could you elaborate a bit please. What are the chances we get to hold on to the quota place ? Is their a risk of missing out? Thanks! I don't follow canoeing much so had a hard time simulating the qualification scenarios. Thanks!
