Well one/two riders meeting the requirement is bad because they can take the individual quota. For India it would be best if Thailand either had 0 or 3+ riders meeting the requirements.

Naah it doesn't matter. It's bad news for Hong Kong. The Asian game silver medallist is of no match to the Hong Kong rider and the qualification is not a problem unless the Indian does badly.

To be fair, China isn't guaranteed to send a team either.

Finland and Norway have basically secured individual quotas for Group A as the only remaining unqualified nations.

Ok, there is Iceland too, but they never ever compete. :p

There are no composite teams. South Africa should qualify.

I think South Africa only has 2 riders currently, though I imagine a third should be able to reach the minimum based on recent results.

Only China and Thailand in eventing don't have a full team with MER right?

Edit: And Brazil in eventing too.

Plus Brazil in dressage. All of them are working on it though, except Brazil for the moment.

Sweden becomes the 7th nation qualified in all team competitions. Ireland and the Netherlands could still join this club, but Brazil may leave.
