In 52kg, Gaurav Bidhuri lost to Japanese boxer while in 69kg, Mandeep Jangra lost to Thai boxer

 

Comfortable wins for Laishram Devendro Singh (46-49kg), Shiva Thapa (-56kg)

 

Boxers qualified for QF (29th March - Noon session starts at 11:30 IST & Evening session starts at 16:30 IST)

Men's 46-49kg: Laishram Devendro Singh vs  tomorrow evening. Devendro should win comfortably

Men's 56kg: Shiva Thapa vs  tomorrow evening. Shiva should win comfortably

Men's 60kg: Dheeraj Rangi vs  tomorrow noon. Tough match. Don't expect him to pull off a surprise

Men's 91kg: Parveen Kumar vs tomorrow evening. Tough to predict. Aussie is the slight favourite

Women's 51kg: Mary Kom vs  tomorrow noon. Should be an easy win for Mary Kom

Women's 60kg: Laishram Sarita Devi vs  tomorrow noon. Vietnam boxer is the favourite as per the rankings. But Sarita was banned for a long period which might have affected her ranking. So I am expecting Sarita to win comfortably

 

 

PS: AIBA is the most corrupted sports body in the world & hence anything can happen. Hence I kindly request everyone not to scrutinize my predictions
