This is an estate housing about 1500 habitants of gypsy origin in the town of Yambol. An unsuccessful attempt to integrate a community by the communist party in the dusk of communism in Bulgaria.

What about the most famous Roma ghetto of Central Europe the unique and legendary "Lunik IX" outside of Košice :p  The city already decided to build a big wall all around (and actually build one), but EU stopped the project saying it is anti-human or so, so they had to destroy it :d

Conclusion: it can be exagerated by propaganda like Heywoodu says but they exists, depends the country it can be big or low the problem.

@stefanbg and @hckosice i never expect to see that kind of images in Europe, are all gypsys in that "no-go zones" of your country?

I understand now why a romanian with i chat when i had 17 years old take in a very ofensive way that i ask to him: are you gypsy? :mumble:

Because he had a super thin skin and didn't understand that not everyone knows everything and thought getting angry would be better than simply explaining it :p

But then again, you just don't ask such questions. :p

If you're not familiar with things, I honestly don't know why. It's all about how someone reacts to them and how they are asked (if someone would ask me in a friendly way if I'm a gypsy, why not answer friendly?).

Well, you never know how people would react so it's best to think and research a bit before asking such question.

First: i was young, now im not asking that kind of question to anybody :p

Second: like the most part of the argentinians descend from Europe, is not wire to ask here if you descend from spanish, italian, german, english etc and is not probably to someone react bad for that, i dont have very present the cultural diferences in that time, in fact in Argentina many things are not ofensive and in the rest of the world they are.

    • Johaug was looking very good in Beitostoelen yesterday, to say the least.   https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/results.html?sectorcode=CC&raceid=46969
    • The only reasons Johaug won't compete are either injury or mis-treating her sunburnt lips again.

    • i think she will, she will come back like Vonn, Hirscher etc.

    • Hallberg MAGIC!  Amazing on the last flat sector!
    • Johaug will not be competing in Milano-Cortina.
    • Noel- 1st place today after 1 run, Amiez- 3rd place... Vinatzer is a talent similar to Noel, so I ask where are his results, where are the other skiers in the lead of classification? Did they really think they would ride on one Gross and Razzoli until 2026?
    • The problem of the Italian federation is that her system doesn`t work and we can`t afford to lose talents like Colturi. Our slalom does not exist, whether among women or men. We are currently at a level under that Croatia in women and Bulgaria in the men's category. There is no progress, in fact there is regression, because while Vinatzer often didn`t finish runs a few years ago, when he did finish he was able to be in the top. Now he either doesn`t finish or is around 20th place, like now. In the women's category the peak of our abilities is Peterlini, who regularly placed around 20th place in the World Cup... If we can`t afford to invest more than Albania and that with the Winter Olympics in a year at home, so I think we can really dissolve our ski sector and focus on something else... If the federation is satisfied with such low levels, let them continue   Btw. maybe it's better investing in private teams like Colturi, if it works? I'd like have 1-2 Colturi in private teams, who will stand on the podiums of the World Cup, than a national team consisting of 5-6 average skiers, who can take 20th place at most, if they finish the race at all...
