A catch should be a win!

A catch is a win - the race is called the pursuit, the object is to get a catch, the time is secondary.

They didn't catch them though. Well, they caught him, but you need to pass him (all three of you).

Yeah, that is the difficulty, how is a "catch" defined?

Well that was exciting.

And someone yesterday said that track cycling is boring. It is when they do seeding time trials, but once the racing proper starts...

Dutch commentator just got a text from Dutch cyclist Roy Pieters, who said that Denmark won't get the win (at least not by catch) because they didn't pass them. Let's see how it goes.

The third rider needs to be within 1m. At least that's what the BBC said

As now we come across the world
To share these Games of old
Let all the flags of every land
In brotherhood unfold

Jesper Worre feels certain that it was a catch. He claims that when you're within a meter it's a catch. Afterall the rules say that the winning team should be signalled to stop to make way for the losing team.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
