This is how I know what the differences are.

Number of stones per end (5 vs 8), the pre positioned stones, number of ends (8 vs 10). Pace of play is also much brisker in doubles.

I also see there's that power play option, with starting stones being moved to the side.

It looks like the Korean curler is just going "I don't want to look!" every time he throws a stone.
