it looks like it's gonna be a Stoch vs Wellinger affair for the Gold medal, with Kubacki just ahead of a bunch of serious contenders for Bronze...

well, tonight's jumps say that the Norwegians (who missed the first session) are well in the hunt, too...

Forfang and Johansson seem to like this hill a lot...

and also Hayboeck is having a good session...

Not quite true, downhill training runs 2 and 3 are streamed live by NBC and there has been some live broadcast of luge trainig in the past.

yeah, I didn't consider the Alpine Skiing downhills (here in Europe most TV stations will show all 3 training runs live, also for the women's event)...

for Luge training runs, frankly I don't remember...but it's surely my fault...

I mostly remember because there was TV broadcast quality video of Nodar Kumaritashvili’s death, and I remember hearing that Georgian TV carried his fatal training run live.

well nbc are certainly updated.....

 

Qualification rounds will reduce the field to 50 competitors. The top 10 jumpers from the current season’s World Cup standings qualify for the final automatically and can elect to not jump in the qualifying round. The qualification round includes one trial jump and one scored jump.
