Monzanator 3,600 Posted January 27, 2019 #451 Share Posted January 27, 2019 Indianapolis 500 is still the single most-important race in the world for me. Fuck Daytona... Olympian1010

I do place Indy over Daytona, yes, but in the end I watch them both anyway If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! For me: Le Mans 24, Indy 500, Monaco GP, Daytona 500, Ezerburg Rodeo, Daytona 24, Dakar Rally, Sebring 12, Baja 1000, Mint 500, my super cool local professional go cart street race In terms of highest Level racing: F1, WRC, WEC, FE, Indycar, NASCAR, IMSA, Moto GP, and then V8 Supercar, DTM, British Touring Cars, etc. “Sport has the power to change the world. Monzanator 3,600 Posted January 27, 2019 #454 Share Posted January 27, 2019 Formula E over IndyCar? Hell no. F1 & IndyCar are the best, WEC is a joke given how Toyota has no competition and WRC is stupid under Super Rally rules. I miss the multiple factory teams competing in the 90s. Now it's a glorified privateer series.
heywoodu 13,562 Posted January 27, 2019 #455 Share Posted January 27, 2019 In terms of action I'd place MotoGP far at the top anyway in the past two or three years. Olympian1010 7,483 Posted January 27, 2019 #456 Share Posted January 27, 2019 Well, I’ve also grown to hate racing as a sport, so that my influence my views. I in terms of preferences: Endurance Racing, Open-Wheel, Rally/Enduro, Moto, literally every other type of racing, NASCAR “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. Monzanator 3,600 Posted January 27, 2019 #457 Share Posted January 27, 2019 Endurance racing is at it's worst tbh. And I thought the Audi dominance was bad (and it sure was). There's some cool stuff in America but WEC is a joke, period.

LMP2 and GTLM are still pretty open though. IMSA is pretty competitive here in America. I’ve just always loved Endurance/Rally Racing “Sport has the power to change the world. NaBUru38 205 Posted February 2, 2019 #459 Share Posted February 2, 2019 And don't forget GT3, it's very competitive. Olympian1010
heywoodu 13,562 Posted February 11, 2019 #460 Share Posted February 11, 2019 Ok it doesn't count towards anything, but Jimmie Johnson finally has a win He won the Clash at Daytona after unleashing this crash, followed by the remainder of the race (around 15 laps) being cancelled due to rain.
