Great, clean race (few cautions for an Indy500), with an amazing finish. And it was so good to see so many spectators at a sport event again.

Two cautions for basically pit-related incidents and only 3 DNFs in a 500 mile race is truly insane stat. Last time there were only two cautions in this race was 1969.

I believe the rain-shortened 1976 race had fewest DNF record with six - and that race only lasted 102 laps.

Well, it has been a very entertaining first 6 hours or so. Sadly, then the red flag came due to the fog....and a few minutes ago came the announcement that the race will restart no earlier than 07.00 :(

No night racing on the Nordschleife this year.

Heavy crash for Felix Rosenqvist in the IndyCar race in Detroit, after apparently his throttle got stuck all of a sudden :yikes:

He was moving and after a good while they freed him from the car. Now let's see what injuries he has, especially the way the nose of the car looked is worrying for his legs.

Six car pile-up in W Series qualifying at Spa. Beitske Visser still to have X-rays on her leg (the car that went upside down). Other involved were Sarah Moore (who started it by crashing out first), Ayla Agren, Abbie Eaton, Belen Garcia and Fabienne Wohlwend.

Once again Eau Rouge reminds everyone of its fearsome reputation. Sadly modern cars try to go there flat out and sometimes it goes awry.
