According to qualification rules, unused continental quotas are reallocated to the qualification tournament.

If I interpret rules correctly, the best 11 pairs after today are granted a spot in the Olympics, while the rest of the field will have to compete on Sunday for reallocated quotas

Yes, the teams that will join you will be known after the team competition. Basically you'll want Europe and Canada to win the three quotas to have the best chance (though Japan will likely grab one of the quotas)

ok. according to our coach it´s official, the top 12 duets from this tournament are already qualified. congrats to Czech Republic

and SVK with 7 other duets will fight sunday for the last remaining 4 spots. top 4 will qualify to Rio.

What a bad result by the spanish team. Medallist in London and now probably out of the games, can't believe it...
