still by miles better than any Slovak halfpipe skier will ever perform and maybe she is not 100% healthy , is injured but wanted too much experience her Olympic dream...or just was quite scarred by the real size of the PyeongChang Halfpipe

No, this is just how she skis. Her strategy is to not fall to finish ahead of anyone who has two falls.

How does it work though? Is there just gonna be one less athlete competing in the heats?

But of course we can’t have that, would be a tragedy if Hungary couldn’t get the fifth realocation.

 

Indeed, it would be tragedy as I probably wouldn't have watched it. I mainly watched the qualification to see the Danish and the Hungarian skier...

 

And btw, half of the performances there were downright depressing, with many athletes not being able to get above halfpipe even if their life depends on it. Main problem seems to be in the event. Swaney was just smart.

It’s too bad ski cross wasn’t at the Olympics in 2006 when David and Kraus where at the height of their dominance.

 

I believe if Framce has an alternare on site they can compete, otherwise there will just be one less athlete (we are already down to 26 from 32 due to declined quotas).
