I just can't believe what I've seen earlier today...:yikes:

Italy played the best and most effective game in the last 10 years and dominated KAZ from start to finish...sometimes they even looked like a real top class team...sustained pressure over KAZ defence, many shots on goal, tough defence by themselves, super-solid goaltending by Bernard (he definitely made up for the sloppy performance against HUn a couple of days ago)...

Now we're really in line for earning an unexpected promotion to the Top Division...let's hope that we don't waste it all with another night off in the last 2 games, as I don't think that GBR and this Slovenian team are actually better than this Italian team...:fingers:

Norway is far better than Sweden/Finland in Cross-Country skiing, alpine skiing and Biathlon, but Sweden/Finland are far better in ice Hockey.  Great Britain wins far more medals than Germany At Summer olympics, but GB is also inexistant in Winter Sports and Most popular Team Sports (Volleyball, Handball, Basketball, Ich Hockey).  
    • Thanks, great stat! Tannheimer wont turn 20 until August 2025, so she has The whole Season To Join Kristiansen and Neuner. Too Bad that she was ill this week. I think Galmace Paulin and Tänglander could also do it. I think Grotian (born 2004) is The First female Biathlete born after 1999 To make a World Cup Podium. On The Mens side multiple Athletes (Perrot, Giacomel, Uldal) have already done it.   E. Öberg was 22 and a half when she First won.  Dahlmeier was 21 and a half.   Edit: Grotian only narrowly missed The Podium in The Individual at The 2024 World Championships when she was still  19 year old.

    • Definitely agree with a lot of these.  In general, everyone from countries that don't have much of a tradition or many facilities, so would add people like    Anthony Ferlazzo in Luge  biathletes  in everything  Maloney-Westgaard in Cross country
