German TV had a nice piece about Kuzmina before the race by the way, about things like how her son was the reason she decided to continue competing (because he said he hadn't seen her on the podium, course and shooting range enough yet ).

 

The report was specially made for our biggest German Kuzmina-fan and @hckosice.

The fact that Kuzmina is still allowed to compete proves that god doesnt exist, otherwise he would never allow such an injustice to happen. If she wins a medal at the olympics i will quit biathlon.

Woah, Team Norway was completely non-existant today

On the other hand, brilliant team performances for Canada, Japan, Sweden and Poland!

Nice to see the Czech Republic being relevant for the first time in this season.

And lastly, very excited that Makarainen got a podium again as well as Laukkanen with a pretty decent place for the pursuit and of course Lehtonen with a career best in world cup and a qualification to tomorrow's pursuit.

Few months later "I said that I will quit biathlon if she wins a medal at the Olympics, I never said anything about quitting if she won two medals".
