FIVB still would have two possible excuses: 1) He wasnt really part of the team, because he didnt play. He didnt have any impact on the game. 2) Meldonium became illegal at the end of 2015.

Now 16-5 for Netherlands. Probably the end of match and as expected Netherlands win. That second set though...

What a weird second set, where :KAZ suddenly managed to raise its level, but then it dropped again during the third.

 

Deserved victory for :NED, but what a weird scoreline.

What a game betwedn :JPN &:PER so far :bowdown: a fery closr match, but only half a set has passed and there alreadu have been 4-5 really long rallies and most actions are really beautifully played. The best match of the day so far...

Good frist set for Peru but Japan dominate (for now) the 2nd set

      I'll jump on the off-topic with an unpopular opinion - ice hockey isn't so stamina demanding to justify 25 people rosters. And it doesn't have big playing fields like football or rugby for example, where you'd require so many reserves. 15 field players + 3 goalies should be good. Or 18+3 at max. But 25 is too much imo and the constant substitutes are too much as well.
