Tour de Ski - Stage 4 cancelled due to severe weather

Today's 4th stage of the Veissmann FIS Tour de Ski performance by Le Gruyère has been cancelled due to severe weather.  Heavy rain and strong winds made the competition course not safe for the athletes.  The competition has halted after the ladies' prologue before the men began.  The ladies' sprint qualification times will not count towards the Tour de Ski but will count for FIS points.

Discussions continue between the FIS Jury and the local Organizing Committee in Oberstdorf, regarding damage to the courses to be used from tomorrow's mass start competitions.

wow! I didn't expect Pellegrino to beat Klaebo today...

great job, man!

and exciting final overall...

p.s. but now I'm a bit worried, as the French guys look pretty good (and pretty dangerous) for the team sprint competition looking at Pyeongchang...

I thought it was a NOR vs ITA question, but those Frenchmen make me think about something different, possibly...
