will NHL players participate here ?

Yes, the players from teams that did not qualified for the NHL play-offs, and their players were not sent to the play-offs of their respective AHL farm teams (mainly the young players with two-way contracts) are allowed.

The problem is how many of them will also confirm their participation and accept the invitation of their National Team coach.

For example for SVK, we have so far only 3 NHLers who confirmed their participation, Andrej Sekera, Tomáš Jurčo and Christián Jaroš. All others which clubs didn´t go through to the play-offs and were eligible refused the invitations for several reasons, Jaroslav Halák (end of contract and afraid of eventual injury which will complicate his new contract negotiations), Richard Pánik (expect the birth of their first child in May), or few others like Marián Gáborík (Injury), some others were sent by their teams to the AHL farm teams and others who play the play-offs are just not eligible until their team will be eliminated

but it´s the same practically for each team, meanwhile some super stars already confirmed heir participation like McDavid or Patrick Kane

Finland only has 4 guys from N-America so far. Goalis Husso & Säteri and Defensemen Pokka & Honka. This feels like 2014 all over again lol.  It was a miracle that we finished that tournament with the 4th place....
