That is true, other examples would be Schippers going from 11.03 to 10.81 in 2015 or Hassan going from 4:03.73 to 3:57.00 in 2014.

Anyone looking particularly forward to tomorrow? The only thing I can really get excited about when looking at the schedule is the women's long jump final and Alina Talay's heat in the 100m hurdles

Btw. It was very good day for our athletes, all six competing in qualifications/heats qualified to semifinals or finals

 

Also for the first time since 10 years we will have men javelin thrower in WCh final
