Same goes for Niki Wories. .
dcro 10,210 Posted September 30, 2017 #73 Share Posted September 30, 2017 Looks like Finland may fail to qualify in figure skating... Again. should be safe, assuming that Reed is not getting the permission... #banbestmen
ahjfcshfghb 287 Posted September 30, 2017 #74 Share Posted September 30, 2017 It sounds like they may have changed Majorov's qualification criteria. Now he needs 'Top 8 finishes' at Grand Prix/Challenger events. Not sure what the means specifically. But this article and others released yesterday make no mention of the 260 point rule. http://www.nsd.se/sport/majorovs-ord-efter-os-platsen-sjukt-bra-nm4656436.aspx

I watched the Slovak skaters (Mysliveckova is Czech actually!) and I have to say I really like them. I don't know, they always look like they're having lots of fun on the ice. hckošice

Apparently Majorov said himself in an interview that he needs 260 points, maybe a lack of communication between them. http://www.absoluteskating.com/index.php?cat=interviews&id=2017majorov #banbestmen
dcro 10,210 Posted September 30, 2017 #77 Share Posted September 30, 2017 finishes behind the qualification zone, so there is no doubt anymore. #banbestmen

Philippines will have other athletes though I think. I'm fairly sure Ukolova won't qualify but with three of our categories qualified, Ukolova could get an additional quota for the team event. Maybe Eliska Brezinova, even.

However, looking at the team rankings here, looks like Czechs will have to wait and see what happens with Israel/Australia (they'll need to reach minimum requirements in women's singles and ice dance, respectively). Only 10 teams could participate. #banbestmen
