Karma exists

Loginov received a serious leg/knee injury during the Summer NCH and was hospitalized. Moreover he fell on his back. He's conscious but in pain shock.

Just announced. Nothing more than bad bruising. Back in 3 weeks

Finally, a bit of nice news from the Brazilian team can be shared :d

Last season they were coached by Tobias Torgersen, the coach of the Swedish IBU Cup team, He went to Poland's women's team however (sadly, but deserved), and long story short: Brazil needed a new coach and place to train instead of with Torgersen with Östersund as 'base' in Europe.

Well, they found it, and a nice one it is! Together with the Australian team, Brazil will set up base camp in Livigno, Italy, where they will have the fantastic opportunity to have specialist shooting trainers, skiing trainers, technique trainers, a specialist waxman (in fact, he went to five Olympics as waxman of the Italian team), a ton of available equipment and facilities and everything....basically, they're making a huge step in terms of professionalism!

Luca Bormolini (the ex-biathlete, older brother of the more succesful Thomas Bormolini) will be the new coach :)

Ukrainian Yana Pustovalova apparently declared her desire to represent Slovakia, she started to study in one of our universities, the Ukrainian Biathlon federation president announced it.  https://sport.aktuality.sk/c/301924/nova-kuzminova-ukrajinska-biatlonistka-chce-reprezentovat-slovensko/

The IBU has held a doping hearing on Yekaterina Glazyrina of Russia.

The story seems to be a positive sample from 2014 Russian Championships that mysteriously disappeared,

If she is cleared it will be good news for Russia but if guilty it could mean hundreds of suspensions for Russia.

    • Surely they will unless I am missing something.
    • So, will they appeal to CAS like in Sinner case?
    • https://www.skysports.com/tennis/news/12110/13262332/iga-swiatek-five-time-grand-slam-champion-accepts-one-month-suspension-in-doping-case Cwnt see WADA not overturning this. One month for a banned substance is very low even for accidental consumption. I’ve only ever heard that short for something banned only in Competition and therefore not seen as fully doping. .
    • big big news regarding Olympic bronze medalist and two time World Champion  Zurabi Datunashvili   https://ita.sport/news/the-ita-acknowledges-cas-add-decision-sanctioning-wrestler-zurabi-datunashvili-for-anti-doping-rule-violations/   to be honest everything was suspicious about this guy, his sudden improvement since 2021, his body, his sudden retirement in 2023 . its great to see him finally getting caught.   they will reallocate the medals later after the end of the process but his Olympic bronze will go to  Ivan Huklek, I think that will be the first ever wrestling medal for Croatia   his 2021 World title will go  Maskevich and the 2022 gold goes to  Bisultanov Bisultanov will benefit more than anybody else, he also gets a bronze from 2021 and  Kessidis will get a bronze from 2022.

    • I am going to use this as evidence for my belief that the only way for baseball to continue growing is to increase the importance of International tournaments.   Because shocassing stars in those environments is how the MLB can grow their viewership abroad.
    • If this were Milan from 20 years ago, it would be a success but currently it`s just a European average team and on top of that it is not in top form. Milan's defense this season resembles Swiss cheese.
