I see that Serbia's races were cancelled. Hopefully Rai is now headed for the Turkey?

Leandro Lutz has gone to Turkey by himself, in sort of a last-ditch effort to try and surpass Victor Santos on the FIS points list and get Brazil's ticket.

That's only smart. Lutz's current average is 216, while Santos' is 180.

 

We've seen people improving their FIS points by ~100 at the Christmas races in Turkey...

Which he apparently wanted to go to, but couldn't because he couldn't really organize it in time. Now he financed this trip by himself and went there without federation help.

 

Nothing against him, he's nice, but personally I hope Victor (the brother of Project Bogota's Paulo) keeps it

Yep it’s Turkey now. We’ll try to go to the other Serbian race in January.

Any idea why Serbia was cancelled? Less than two weeks ago the Chileans were still planning on going there.

DNS for Pita in Turkey today. Lutz got 246 points, so no worries for Victor so far.

Smart for Pita, no need to waste energy on classic races, particulary the longer classic races.

 

Good result for Tawk today. He'll need one or two mroe good results to become the first Lebanese Olympic XC skier since 1956.
