First good news of the day, our 800m. runner finished in an unexpected 2nd place with a PB and a qualification to the U23 Championships.

Remember, you guys promised to be promoted this year in order to rejoin Irish-Lithuanian rivalry / banter in the next edition.

On top of that, it would be good to come back to a league that has coverage of the events, sometimes :d We'll try to climb up, promise to not fall down.

Yes, coverage was great this time, thank to Finland :)

We maintained our place in the First League, so just your end of the bargain now to fulfill :d.

We managed to finish last in both Discus Throw competitions..definitely not our best discipline :d ..but again, considering that in the past we had some good athletes in this event, especially a world and european champion and Olympic medalist Imrich Bugár it´s really sad to see how deep we dropped

I've seen the video :): the French guy is ahead, there is no space to pass him, Kszczot bumps into him, goes outside the track behind the French, runs a bit on the grass and goes back on the track ahead of the French guy, gaining an advantage.:)

Btw. Tell me what it was? By this Adam lost stability, maybe touch someone but then French guy pushed him, it's fault of organizers. Also Fajdek from hammer throw was mad because four athletes waitng for their last throw more than 20 minutes without reason... As I said WC in Daegu were way better than this.

    • We have much more events and there may be no Russia in 2026 so most of the NOCs should improve. But not Poland i’m afraid
    • I’ve had 2weeks long Olympic holidays each time since i graduated from the university in ancient times of year 2003   Both winter and summer. Always.   i had those olympic holidays in every job contract 😉
    • For sure better for  one silver - I think it was Shelly Rudman, Skeleton.  Can definitely improve on that.   Still remember it as a good games, though - think it was the first time I took two weeks off work to watch a Winter Games.
