Not often Spanish domestic triathlon gets much coverage, but this one’s worth it, touch of the Alaphillipes.

We have another attempt to produce a new format for triathlon on Eurosport tomorrow, live from that home of all forms of sporting innovation, :SVK.  Some familiar names involved.

Slovakian weather letting us down - cold, wet & windy.  Didn’t realise this was the actual Danube they are swimming in. Long way from being blue, although the swimmers’ feet are.

yeah the weather is sadly not good last two-three days and the rain and cold is expected for the whole weekend until next Tuesday.

and yes, the Danube is rather known being a bit dirty river, everything in the Bratislava region is in fact :p

Am getting a bit overwhelmed by the profusion of different triathlon formats, but all the big names who won’t be in Hamburg will be in, or on, Jersey :JEY competing in the Super League Triathlon event there.  Live on BT Sport here in :GBR, highlights on Eurosport elsewhere.

Flora Duffy’s homecoming event in Bermuda scheduled for next month is a COVID casualty.  Hopefully a postponement rather than a cancellation.  :(

Another two meet weekend. The world’s best are in Malibu :USA for the final race of the Super League Series.  For the strivers, it’s the European Championships in Valencia, :ESP.
