And apologies for pulling it off-topic, so here is something more related to football :d

There's a whole thing going on here after the recent derby between N.E.C. Nijmegen and Vitesse (of Arnhem), which was won by Vitesse, whose fans celebrated a tad too much though.

Luckily everyone got away basically fine and with nothing more than a good scare, but that could have gone horribly wrong. Good thing there was a large trash container underneath it, which prevented further collapse. No fans in Nijmegen's stadium for a while, they'd play in other stadiums but couldn't agree with any other club on where they could play a few games for the time being.

Oh yes, I saw this in our news, man this was so hilarious and scary at the same time. Reallyy great and lucky that nothing wrong happened to the people though.

If I am not mistaken, @brunamoura is actually already going there in December (Strbske Pleso) for competitions :d

Nice, Hope she will do great. Also remember to follow the covid situation, they are updated on weekly basis, the Tatras (Poprad) district will be next week in black color, but can change every week, In black districts the events may be cancelled or allowed with only limited participation. But fully vaccinated person should be fine to move there however the problem should be with accomodations since hotels must be closed during the black color weeks.

you can find the colors in the bottom, updated every Tuesday for the next week. Poprad district (Tatras, Štrbske Pleso)

  • 2 weeks later...

Our parliament released first measure after that famous "Hooligans orgy" in Trnava last month.

Tickets for risky sports events will be sold from now on only for name and surname, while the organizer will be obliged to allow entry to the event only after verifying the identity of the spectator with the ticket.  Until now, the obligation to sell ticketsonly for the name and surname of spectator for a risky event applied only to the fans of the guests teams, after the new it should be for all visitors (home, guests and any other spectators) to all the classified risky sports events.

Not often women’s football makes headlines, but this PSG story is going to keep generating them.  Also: did not think it possible for anyone to have worse haircuts than the West German 1990 squad, but Kheira Hamraoui is up there challenging.

The whole scandal takes an even more ridiculous turn. Certainly none of these people are going to be winning any Nobel Prizes.

Uruguay's Estadio Centenario will host the Copa Libertadores final match. Thousands of Flamengo and Palmeiras fans are expected to arrive. The government asked shops to store plenty of freezing-cold beer.

However, it turns out that the next day it's the national elections for the state pension savings bank. By law, alcohol sales are banned for the weekend...
