Selina Jörg, Germany's soon-to-be only reigning World Champion in an Olympic non-sliding winter sports individual event, will quit her career after the last World Cup in Berchtesgaden this March.

that's quite surprising...just before the the Olympic Games...:yikes:

but I guess that alpine snowboard doesn't get you so much money to postpone any good chance to improve your life in the next future...

    • The Technical director of the Dutch Olympic Committee has, using his discretionary powers, decided to include them in the team. He cites “extra-ordinary circumstances”, but has not stated what they are. The use of these powers is quite rare. They were used in 2022 to nominate an alpine-skier.
