So, we're giving up on Brignone already too? :p

Hard to get excited for the women's World Cup when you know the overall winner four races into the season. As if years of Hirscher winning the men's overall by default wasn't enough :p

Considering she announced it a few days ago....that's the overall World Cup decided in November

Why ? There still 31 Women races remaining this season, I really dont get how te overall WC should be already decided with all DH and SG still to be raced and Mikaela can perfectly win all the GS or SL until the end of the season :dunno:

LIke @heywoodu said, she can skip more races this season and maybe only forcus for the World Champs. That would mean the overall globe is decided already. No way Vlhova skips even one race this season IMO.

I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
