Hard to believe we are watching USA vs CAN... we are at the 50th minute right now and still only one minor penalty was called in this match so far. for the US in the 2nd period (Boyle for elbowing)

  has never played the final since the introduction of the Play-offs and never finished among the top 2 since 1960 !

 

and no, it will not change this year too.

 

Canada won 4-2 and the team that was basically almost eliminated is now one win from the world title

That is quite a story It is really unbelievable how one player changed completely the outcome of this team. Canada lost to Latvia 0-2, to USA 1-5, to Germany in the first 3 matches and was basically eliminated, then arrived Andrew Mangiapane from Calgary as the last player added to the roster and since then...he scored in each match and led this team to an incredible Final tomorrow.

The Germans are playing very well in tjis opening period so far, but did 2 mistakes and Finland immediately punish.

Enormous Reichel mistake and Bjornine completely alone in front of German goaile had no problem. 2:0 Finland, Time 18:55
