which means that one team between USA / SVK / SUI / GER will make the final (I hope SUI)...

 

p.s. Sweden's 9th place is their worst ever performance at the world champs (tying the disaster of 1937)...:yikes:

since we have the preliminary group stage + knockout stage in 1992 (including the championships with a slightly different format in 1997 through 1999), they missed not only the quarters, but even the top 4 only in 1996 and 2000 (5th and 7th place in those 2 years)...
