Per start list of Asian Taekwondo Qualifiers, Cambodia has a very good chance to qualify in +67kg, their athlete only has to beat one match against Tajikistan to qualify !

beside that Afghanistan has chance in both men's weights, their 58kg entry is also a former world medalist, Mahmood Haidari. he was banned from WTF for age shaving

 

Augusto Midana most probably will qualify in wrestling for GBS tomorrow.

Wooooooooo!!!! Finally we have a new nation qualified after lots of recent near misses. August Midana qualified for Guinea Bissau in the Men's Wrestling -74kg Freestyle. More chances for Guinea Bissau to come in the -97kg event.

Oceanian judo championships will be held this weekend. We'll have to see if some new country is going to participate. Only participation at this event might be enough for some nations to earn Oceanian continental quota.

 

Going into Oceanian championships, Vanuatu, American Samoa and Palau are currently in qualification positions.
