The first "missed test" in April 2016 is very interesting.

Here the details from USADA

Poor Rollins, the system is so complicated...you can't even deliberately avoid doping control officers :p

IOC released official document of taking the medal away from Chernova. This will mean that soon Lithuania will officially be awarded with heptathlon bronze from London 2012

7-8? :d

Well in the case that every big talent keeps growing and every current top athlete is still world class in three years and everyone peaks in exactly the right time and there's some luck with other athletes not improving as much and there's some luck with other athletes not having a good day in Tokyo, it's possible I guess :p

    • @hckošice, even though Tomankova lost, she had a good fight against Costa, I think soon she and Babulfath will be the stars of -48kg.
    • Yes.   The event has been cancelled due to the accident.
    • Damn...   That's Clement Noel's Red Bull event of Sunday I think?

    • Yeah, we have such a strong crop of Juniors, that we can’t take them all. They all have exciting trajectories but to predict what Junior swimmers will is always difficult. Better to let them all swim together at Juniors than rocketing them all up to seniors and swimming a prelim and going home.
    • Hanlon is the most unlucky, in my opinion. Aside from relay cover, she's the 50m champ and they made a point of including consideration for those events being in LA for the other discretionary picks. Essentially she has the same case for selection as Max Morgan (albeit without the trajectory right now).   Blocksidge's form was way off this week (compared to her previous bests). Obviously being still young you could put that down to relative inexperience. Still, she has World and European Juniors that she could still be selected for this summer. There's an argument that performing well at those might be as beneficial as going to Singapore.   That said, I'm happy that they did take a bunch of discretionary picks. That's not always been the case.
