Unfortunately, that does not come as a surprise. Is there anywhere one can view the list?

The media close to their officials say it's Starykh, Loginov & Iourieva from those who've already been caught.

Olga Zaitseva, Olga Vilukhina, Yana Romanova from those who've already retired.

Glazyrina & Shumilova from the active biathletes.

+ numerous local biathletes who've never competed internationally.

Interesting. Seems as well it's mostly female biathletes. I wonder if only the athletes will be banned or if there will be a greater ruling against Russia's participation as a whole.

For starters I really don't think we should have a World Cup in Tyumen and Youth/Junior world champs in Ostrov this season..

Nice example to the teenage biathletes: "Hey this country is doping their athletes sponsored by the government, but you'll have to go there and participate anyway."

Good point...Letting them host an event with this happening would be out of order. Starting athletes is a right, but hosting events is a privilege. And Russia in its form should have at the very least no privileges.

Interesting to note that this IBU Cup could decide who gets the fourth Wild Card spot for Trimester 2's WC. (China had it for T1 but never used it). At the moment it looks like it's between Greece's Angelis and Bosnia's Plakalovic, having looked at their IBU point scores over the last 3 trimesters. Not sure which is ahead, their averages seem similar though..

25th skiing time for Plakalovic :yikes: but 11 misses... finishing 100th, with Angelis in 91st..

Incredibly sad for Plakalovic, even if he had missed 5 shots he would have less than 120 IBU points (WC-standard)!

I've watched the speed of his shots, they are insanely fast. It's like he doesn't really try, he shoots extremely fast even when he misses. Though he did shoot clear one time and again rapidly. It's ridiculous, especially for an individual race.

Interesting..I wish they had the same electronic target system they had in Beitostoelen. There they published a PDF with exact shooting results (like exactly where the target was hit) and times per shot and everything.

What does this mean at the IBU Cup? Slovak flag and 0+0+0+0? What is this? :d

Great result for Terézia. happy for her, seems like send a athlete to the IBU cup is for our womens a real punishment  and they immediately try to return back to "A" Team.

but here you can see how huge is the difference between World Cup and IBU Cup, with her clean shooting she is somewhere around 70th place in World Cup but in IBU Cup without serious troubles she finished only 5 seconds behind podium !
