Charles Flaherty is definitely American. His family are bona-fide residents of Puerto Rico, but he’s still facing an uphill battle to go to Korea. We hope he can convince the Puerto Rico Olympic Committee (COPUR) to send him, but nobody is holding their breath… :-/

American Samoa  told me they are scouting a bobsled team for the 2022 or 2026 Games. Just out of interest. (I emailed every federation, will update on the interesting ones).

I thought skier has qualified after today's race, but apparently he now has 140.05 points.

 

Not that good for someone who gets a lot of DNFs..

Klaus Jungbluth Rodriguez of Ecuador is in Termas de Chillan at the moment, so he'll participate in the races starting Sunday  

 

I asked Bruna about who is present there and apart from the Brazilians, it looks like he is the only one for now (I'm fairly certain Argentina and Chile will have a team there, but no word on Venezuela or Colombia).

The Fis will give him a quota. IIRC both Venezuela and South Africa failed to get under 140 (just barely) but still got a quota.

Oh, god, I think it is. He is in fact Dominica-Republican...

Would be interesting to see a battle of  vs . Shame they wouldn't be in the same sport.
