Again a great exercise for Villa, she is one of the biggest hope of the italian gymnastics :fingers:

she's a 13 years young girl...people can't say how her body is going to grow up in the next few years...maybe she gets too big and heavy for the sport and all the hopes will be gone in a flash...

you can never know with such young kids...

so, both our guys are out at the quarterfinal stage (not that I really care about that, but still I feel sorry for them)...

In Roller Skating, if the italian girl gets last in the final she'll tie with the spanish girl for the 3th place. They give two bronze medals?

I think they will look at the best single result and so on, before giving out 2 medals of the same color...:mumble:

and :JPN Shuta Tanaka replies immediately...and with a quicker time...

with this, I think the Chinese guy can say goodbye to the final (he was already well behind in the overall ranking)...

It depends from results of Frenches and Ukrainian.

and Schenk...actually, he should be the favourite for the Lead segment...but looking at his boulder performance I guess he's not in his best shape (we already knew that in the speed section he wasn't good at all)...

p.s. the Ukranian is already second last, so he's mathematically out...

If I am correctly Schenk should win lead to overtake Chinese. First French has poor result so if Italian won't win lead Huang is in the final (I think).

    • Was an interesting competition...as I was watching, I was thinking that the boulders seemed a bit simple for this caliber of athletes (and also a lack of more dynamic moves).  Glad my suspicions were confirmed when Oriane and Janja stated that they wished the boulders were harder at the end.  We'll see what this looks like if this happens again!   (Biggest complaint: SF1 and SF2 was immediately followed by the Small Final, so the loser of SF2 wasn't as rested.  They could have switched genders to the other SFs first.)
    • He missed all 3 attempts at 2.27 to finish in second place. Merlos cleared 2.27 on his first attempt to equal his PB from a few weeks ago and will go for 2.29 now.     Another 2008-born athlete, Evelyn Mitropoulou, got 6.45 in the women's long jump  The U20WL is 6.46, so she was very close. She also smashed her own indoor U20NR of 6.25 today

    • 17 yo Charalampos Alivizatos in the men's high jump with 2.25 at  National Championships  His previous PB was 2.19, he equaled that today, then cleared 2.21 on his first attempt,  2.23 on his third, and 2.25 on his first!   He is trying now for 2.27 and missed his first attempt. He is currently in second place as Merlos also cleared 2.25 but with less attempts.   He is improving rapidly. His PB after 2023 was 1.90, then 2.07 after 2024 and 2.15 after 2025
