Well that was a tough race to watch from Dubreuille.

Dubreiul has a faster time than he did when he got silver in Beijing. But he's edged out at the line, and likely won't podium. Faster track here.

A least he looks somewhat back on form. Good news for the 500 potentially.

Ya, the endurance failed him but he looked good in the first 600m.

This is pretty much how Dubreuil skates every 1000m. Goes out hard the first 600m and then dies on the final 400m and hopes to hang on to a good time.

He's still in 2nd after the first half. But lots of heavy hitters still coming.

Dubreil will finish in the top 10 which is better than he's done all season.
