BBC preview.  Good news is that some of the :SCO will be on the BBC including hopefully the finals.

I don't know why they didn't have these ECH a week early and have practically the whole TV time to themselves. Next week the schedule is much more crowded with the other winter sports kicking the season. Sometime i think if we made the calendar it would be much more beneficial to over a dozen sports.

Crazy, but I guess everything depends on the :CAN money circuit events we have been seeing on eurovisionsports this year.

Pretty pointless to say that they're going to be covering 'selected games' without actually telling us which games they're going to show.

What happened to Team Morrison?! :yikes:
Scotland loses 9–0 to Turkey in just 6 ends in their European Championship opener :smash::hairpull:

Morrison has been a consistent drag on the squad for a few seasons now. She's already lost the skip role to Sophie Jackson, but because she continues to play as 4th, whether :SCO scores is largely down to her. Today she was curling at just 33%.

Hopefully this will be the last season we have to endure the team with this make up

4 different games on Discovery+ Plus tomorrow.  Think all Sweden's Games are on svt play, but you'll need a good VPN.  For Brits, the scheduled RR games are

Scotland men v Switzerland (Monday)

Scotland women v Norway (Wednesday)

Scotland men v Sweden (Wednesday)

Scotland men v Italy (Thursday)

    • Was an interesting competition...as I was watching, I was thinking that the boulders seemed a bit simple for this caliber of athletes (and also a lack of more dynamic moves).  Glad my suspicions were confirmed when Oriane and Janja stated that they wished the boulders were harder at the end.  We'll see what this looks like if this happens again!   (Biggest complaint: SF1 and SF2 was immediately followed by the Small Final, so the loser of SF2 wasn't as rested.  They could have switched genders to the other SFs first.)
    • He missed all 3 attempts at 2.27 to finish in second place. Merlos cleared 2.27 on his first attempt to equal his PB from a few weeks ago and will go for 2.29 now.     Another 2008-born athlete, Evelyn Mitropoulou, got 6.45 in the women's long jump  The U20WL is 6.46, so she was very close. She also smashed her own indoor U20NR of 6.25 today

He is currently in second place as Merlos also cleared 2.25 but with less attempts.   He is improving rapidly. His PB after 2023 was 1.90, then 2.07 after 2024 and 2.15 after 2025
