And they should be. With all the mentally absurd retirements in Norway, I'm having both Germany and USA being above Norge in the medal table. Heck with subpar performances they could even be of the podium when it comes to gold medals.

Germany heavily depends on the results on the sliding track

if they don't adapt well to the new Cortina track (and they never liked the old one), they might go home with very few golds

I wouldn't be too worried about the Germans.

 

They'll unveil their new hi-tech sleds at the Olympics that will allow the athletes to crash into the walls 10 times, flip over, and still win the gold medal.
