 is the first new nation on ski jumping World Cup podium since December 1987 (back then  Staffan Tallberg). Prior to that  in 1982 (Massimo Rigoni).

 

Adding  as Germans, Slovenians under  and Russians under  that makes a total of 17 nations on the podium. And only four of them after the second season ever (1980/81). That includes Josef Samek as Czech since the first Czechoslovakian podium ever was from a Slovak (Jan Tanczos) @hckošice
